INFORMATION ON OUR USE OF COOKIES

Play Around (hereinafter the “Company”) points out the following pursuant to art. 13, in light of paragraph 30 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR”) on natural persons’ data protection with regard to the processing of their personal data, with a view to explaining the purposes and the modalities of the processing of the personal data that might be shared while visiting this website (hereinafter the “Site”).

It is specified that this information uniquely refers to the Site and not to the websites run by third parties, which Users may reach by means of links contained in it.

CATEGORIES OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data

The information systems and the software procedures relied upon to operate the Site acquire, as part of their standard functioning, some personal data whose forwarding is implied in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected with a view to being associated to identified interested users; however, due to their nature, it may allow identifying users through elaborations and associations with data held by third parties. This category of data include, for instance, IP addresses or names indicating the domains of the computers utilised by users that connect to the Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used while making the request to the server, the dimension of the file obtained in reply, the number code indicating the status of the reply offered by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding users’ operation system and IT environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of retrieving anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and in order to monitor its correct functioning, and will be immediately deleted after processing.

Data provided voluntarily by Users

The discretionary, explicit and voluntary transmission of email to the addresses indicated in the Site will result in the following acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to reply to requests, as well as potential additional personal information that may have been included in the email. Furthermore, specific summaries will be provided or visualised in the Site’s pages prepared for particular services that may be requested and, if necessary, shall be subject to the interested party’s consent.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are sent to the browser in use and stored on the device in use when visiting an Internet website. Cookies enable the Site to function efficiently and enhance its performances, provide information to the Site’s owner for statistical or advertising purposes, mainly to customise the navigation experience, keeping track of users’ preferences. TYPE OF COOKIE FUNCTION

  4. For further information on the cookies that are stored on your computer, click on “Show cookies”.

LEGAL BASIS AND PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING, NATURE OF DATA TRANSFER AND CONSEQUENCES IN CASE OF REFUSAL

The Company will process users’ data in order to assist browsing and to provide the services that may be requested through forms that are made available specifically in the Site. With the exception of what has been specified in relation to navigation data and technical cookies, within the Site sections set up for particular services upon request, users will be free to provide their personal data for the purposes described in the respective informative reports, but failure to provide them may result in the impossibility to obtain the service requested.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

The personal data collected through the use of the Site are processed for the period that is strictly necessary to attain the purposes for which they have been collected, as well as, at the end of it, for the period possibly laid down by the regulations in force.

AREAS OF COMMUNICATION OF DATA AND CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS

Exclusively for the purposes specified above, all the data collected and processed can be transferred to external subjects that are authorised to process them by reason of their duties, as well as to external subjects to whom it might be necessary to transfer them. Such recipients, where they should process data on behalf of the Company, will be designated as subjects in charge of processing with a specific contract or other legal act.

DATA TRASFER TOWARDS THIRD COUNTRIES AND/OR AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION

Personal data shall not be transferred to non-European Third Countries.
